Harper, Liberia—The Dehkontee Artists Theatre, Inc. (DATI) has announced the appointment of Statesman Henry Fayiah Tamba, B.Sc., as its new Regional Director for Southcentral, Northern, and Western Liberia.

According to a statement signed by Dr. Joseph Tomoonh-Garlodeyh Gbaba, Sr., Ed.D., Executive Director of DATI, Statesman Tamba’s appointment takes immediate effect. As Regional Director, he will oversee the establishment and coordination of DATI chapters across the assigned regions, ensure effective chapter operations, recruit volunteers and trainees, and conduct periodic oversight visits.
The official letter of credence is expected to be presented during the joint installation of DATI chapters, with the date and venue to be announced soon.

Meanwhile, DATI continues its regular Saturday online meetings. This weekend’s session, scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025, will bring together members of the Board of Trustees, newly appointed officers, and participants of the DATI Liberian National Youth Leadership Forum. The meeting aims to strengthen collaboration between new and existing members and discuss preparations for the joint installation program scheduled for January 2026 in Monrovia.
Key policy matters, including membership fees and chapter-level fundraising initiatives to sustain the organization’s operations, are also expected to be discussed.
DATI remains committed to promoting peace, reconciliation, cultural awareness, and youth empowerment across Liberia through education, the arts, and community service.
