The Dehkontee Artists Theatre, Inc. (DATI) is preparing for its national installation ceremony in January 2025, which will focus on peace, reconciliation, unity, and cultural preservation.

During an online meeting held on October 18, 2025, members agreed that each county chapter will showcase a cultural performance, and a fundraising drive will also be organized.

In a related development, DATI Executive Director Dr. Joseph Gbaba acknowledged that Superintendent Henry Cole offered a space at Harper City Hall for an office. Dr. Gbaba stated this space will serve as DATI’s Peace and Cultural Center.

Meanwhile, two newly appointed regional leaders were introduced: Statesman Henry Tamba as Regional Director for Southcentral Liberia and Statesman Daniel Seatine for the Southeast.

Dr. Gbaba encouraged members to stay united and proactive, affirming, “DATI members will rise.”

County chapters also presented plans, including Maryland’s proposal for a football and talent show to raise funds.

The meeting concluded with commitments to recruit more members, prepare cultural presentations, and finalize logistics ahead of the January installation.
