Road Accident Reported on Zorzor–Sucromu Road, Victims in Critical Condition

A serious motor accident occurred earlier today on the main highway connecting Zorzor and Sucromu Town in Lofa County.

Details of the Incident

According to eyewitnesses, a vehicle traveling toward Monrovia veered off the road after the driver reportedly lost control. The vehicle subsequently plunged into a deep valley located near Sucromu Town.

Reports from the scene indicate that several workers were on board at the time of the crash. Onlookers disclosed that all occupants sustained severe injuries and were in critical condition immediately following the accident.

Rescue Efforts

Local community members and passersby rushed to the site to assist in rescuing the victims from the valley. The injured were stabilized on-site before being transported to a nearby health facility for urgent medical attention.

Investigation Status

As of this report, the official cause of the accident has not been established. The condition of the victims remains critical, and local authorities are expected to conduct a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Meanwhile, in a related development from Lofa County, Lawalazu Town, Voinjama District, a 60 year–old man identified as Siafa Woiwor on January 12, 2026 mysteriously disappeared in Central Lawalazu town, Lofa County.

According to family sources, Siafa Woiwor disappeared while urinating behind his House mid–day.

Voinjama district Commissioner David Mawolo confirmed the information, and said it is a serious public concern for the district.

“Up to present, we haven’t find the Old Man which is causing serious concern for us our district” Commissioner David Mawolo said.

Police in Voinjama city are investigating Neighbors in the Lawalazu town, but up to press time, there is no information on his location.

Meanwhile, man power were mobilized over the weekend to launch a massive hunt for his Location.

According to Historians in Voinjama district, this is not the first time for someone to be missing.

They explained that in the 60s, a paramount chief disappeared mid–day and was never found up to present.
