MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Ghanaian Ambassador accredited to Liberia, His Excellency Godwin Baletum Amonzem, has formally expressed profound regret and condolences following the violent death of a young Liberian man in Ghana. The incident has sparked outrage and concern within the Liberian diaspora and at home.
The victim, identified as 26-year-old Austin Tengbeh, was reportedly killed on February 27, 2026, following a brutal mob attack at an apartment complex in Lashibi, located near the coastal area of Sakumono, outside Accra.
